Brooke's Blessing Day

Last week (Feb. 1st) we blessed Brooke. My friend Stephanie Vogel MADE her dress!!! I wish the picture showed the details more! IT is a beautiful dress that truly looks professional! She had embroidered leaf vines on it and the lace work was gorgeous! It had delicate little sleeves that came down to a point! When she asked me if I wanted her to make a dress for Brooke I could have never imagined it would be so beautiful! Any way She is a very talented and giving person. Thanks again Steph! Also my friend Angela made her the hair bow and a cute little bracelet you can't see. And Grandma White crocheted her blanket! I am so lucky to have such good friends and family that support me and my family. Grandma White, Geraldine, My mom and Dad, Gwen and Cody, Greg and Lorissa, and Chris and Marta were there to share this special day with us. And it was a good thing to because I ended up having Gwen teach one of our primary Classes, and Chris and Marat took Bri home to have a nap! Oh what a wonderful family I have!

John did the blessing in Spanish so I asked him afterward what her blessing said. He said, " she was blessed with health and strength, she was blessed to be an example to her brothers and sister and her parents, that she would have peace of mind, she would find someone worthy to go to the house of the Lord with and, that her Heavenly Father would be proud of her. It was a beautiful blessing and even though it was in Spanish I felt the spirit very strong. With each of my kids when they are born and as they get bigger I look at them and know that they have come to us from a very special place and that they are truly a little miracle! I am so happy to have her as part of our family. I feel so blessed to have such wonderful happy, healthy kids!
