The apartments finally came down. It was one of those happy/Sad moments. It was wonderful because they had gotten to be such a hastle to maintain. They were so old and run down. Yet sad because they were a reminder of so many fond memories for John's family. I think it was especially hard for Grandma White and Geraldine. There were a few tears shed but they really were no longer like they were when they had all the fond memories of them.
The boys sure enjoyed watching all the big machinery tare them down.
