After the movie

OK the cake didn't turn out quite like I had hoped but Connor seemed to like it.

These pictures are all in the wrong order. Connor's 3rd Birthday was Sept. 5. For some reason Connor always has seemed older to me than he is! I think the poor kid has had to grow up fast! Or maybe it's just because he is so smart! Anyway enough bragging! For his Birthday we let him choose where he wanted to eat. Can any body guess where? Yep that's right good old
McDonald's! The boys had a great time but we didn't get to stay long we hurried home to have cake and open presents with Grandma and Grandpa. He of course was very excited about his gifts. Oh if they could only stay 3 and love anything that you give them! Anyway I decided for an extra special treat we would take the boys to the movies. The Virgin River has older movies for $1.50 and they were playing
Kung Fu Panda!! I made
arrangements with my mom to take
Bri for us and then we headed out. On our way John got called on a water break. (they never time those things right!) Any way we hurried and dropped him off and I took the boys to the movie. We got there kinda late so we didn't get any treats but we had just had cake so it worked out
OK. It was a big treat for me! I guess I don't spoil the boys very much because I don't want them to be spoiled and their dad and their grandmas take care of that. Maybe I shouldn't be so what's the word .......I'll say,"up tight" all the time after all they are only little once. I don't know I guess you just have to have a time for everything. So it was nice to be the one to do something really fun like that with them and see them get so excited! We hadn't told them where we were going. And they were both very excited when they figured it out. It was a fun day and I think it was special for Connor.
